Scriptures for Strippers 2

When we, exotic dancers, consistently make large amounts of money night after night at the strip club, we may develop superstitious rituals to keep the cycle in effect. Wearing the same costume, a certain fragrance or even attempting to keep stage set times the same are a few examples. We talk about the lines and techniques we use to get customers to love us then pay, pay, pay us! We take the credit for the blessings we obtain through our employment, leaving God out of the equation for success.

When the hard nights come, depression and helplessness closely follows. When we can’t seem to say the right thing to the patrons, when no one tips the stage, when everyone else is getting paid but you the frustration is indescribable. Self-esteem, self-worth and the idea of being independent and self-sufficient all become painfully questionable. But The Word of God says when you are weak, He is strong. When you cannot provide for yourself, seek God in prayer and He will come through. I have had nights where I haven’t made anything all night and suddenly a customer comes in and hands me $200 just before the club closes after only dancing a few songs.

Sometimes we make goals of $500 for the night and become discouraged when the night ends and we didn’t reach the quota. But what when we look at what we did make, isn’t it amazing that what we have is sufficient enough to take care of what we need?

“But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you (sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully); for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in (your) weakness.”~ 2Corinthians 12:9

Sufficient– adequate, ample, enough, satisfactory and plenty.

Grace- kindness, decency, mercy, favor, charity and leniency.

bible2

If we think about His grace and mercy on us throughout our lives we should be both humbled and empowered. Knowing God will make it happen if we believe in ourselves enough to bring forth whatever God has put inside is better known as a faith walk. His grace is sufficient. He has done enough. But He is not going to give up. You may have come short of the glory of God. All have. (Romans 3.23)

God has never come up short. He is always just enough. When you begin to trust, lean on and expect great things from God, you will go forward boldly with authority, not thinking about the past, not focusing on the future but living fully in the present. Know that God always provides and feeds His obedient sheep.  (Ezekiel 34:10)

Obedient– well-trained, respectful, meek, dutiful, loyal.

Keep the straight and narrow on your faith walk. His grace is adequate, ample, enough, satisfactory and plenty to do whatever it is you need! Always get up and keep going when you are having a bad night. Don’t sit in the dressing room and pout. Don’t take a bunch of shots and pass out. Keeping a smile on your face and a positive attitude will help attract blessings within the club.

If you can’t shake the negativity, take a break and pray because after all:

You Gotta Get prayed up before you can get Paid Up!

Peace and Blessings!

    • Thank you for reading the blog entry! Almighty God watches us all and we needn’t be concerned with people’s perception of us. I hope you will follow this blog and others to help you on your journey to enlightenment! 🙂

  1. Working in an environment where many minds may think as lustfully sinful, can leave one to feel stressful and helpless at times. Having encountered spiritual encouragement can make the mind and soul grow fonder on life-setting goals and achievements. However, I really think the encouraging words given are needed in giving Adult Entertainers (strippers) a world of positive reality.

    • Thank you for the kind words. I hope this blog will continue to encourage you in your faith walk. God loves all His beloved children even when fellow humans can’t allow themselves to accept what they perceive to be an unGodly lifestyle. Keep your head up and never forget that He is everywhere… even in the strip club! 🙂

  2. Know that grace is given by GOD as a gift after we are “Saved”. During our being saved, with grace, we are to decrease our sins, not increase our sins, in getting closer to GOD. GOD grace is sufficient for you in decreasing your sins. Hence, is you are a saved stroller, your first action is to stop being “butt ball naked ” in front of men and women advocating and promoting fornication and promiscuity. Please do not use the word of GOD in an effort to validate the anti-Christ behavior of stripping to make you feel comfortable and accepting in once being involved in such immoral sexual behavior. Like Lot’s wife, do not look back on your past of sin. If you do you and your effort against GOD and Christ will turn into “a Pillar of Salt”. I recommend that you recommit yourself to Christ, instead of using God’s Word to encourage individuals to “stay in their Sin” in a demonic place expecting to be blessed with more money for stripping. YOU are showing that you are misguided in the Word of GOD. Please do not confuse people, like the anti-Christ, with this misguided religious teaching. I pray that you continue to get closer to GOD and hear and follow his commandments. “GO AND SIN NO MORE.”

    • Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. This blog is for women who are living a certain lifestyle to have access to the Word of God BEFORE they make the decision to change their lives. No one will listen to condemnation an embrace judgment when it comes to “encouraging” them to embraced God. God is love and understanding is the beginning of love. If you don’t understand where someone is coming from, you will never make an impact. The most saved sanctified of the “body of Christ” are guilty of condemning, ostracizing and isolating people who are not living in the light already.

I’m sure you are aware that you are to feed your brother before “giving them the gospel”. I am reaching people where they are, not attempting to drag them. Lead a horse to water by feeding her salt so she is thirsty when she gets to the pond.

This is my way of allowing God to use me to bring His love and encouragement to the people I left behind. I will not look down on people for not being like me. I have found that of you add God, certain things fall away. I don’t go around telling people what hey need to stop doing. That doesn’t work.

This is not a misguided teaching. This is informed encouragement to the lost, hopeless and helpless girls who deal with men’s judgment and sexual desire. Men like you attempt to blame women for their own shortcomings and inability to control their own sexual urges. It is important for women to be encouraged by a woman who understands what they do and why they do it. When these women see that God helps people in the moment, it will let them strive to be more on their own. God will call each of them individually to HIS purpose, not mine.

The more I hear from people like you, the more I know this is an important assignment from God to complete. Thank you for confirmation on my purpose. People like you would never be able to help strippers, exotic dancers or even hustler. You let me know that I am unique and I feel more responsible and charged to reach and teach the “least of us” that regardless of what they do, they are worthy of God’s love, care and compassion. I wonder if you believe it is better to tell them they are wrong wrong wrong so they can commit suicide or fall further into hopelessness?

Again, thanks for reading. If you come across anyone who is an outcast, hustler or something they should not be, direct them to this page so thy can receive encouragement. I would hate for you to be inadvertently responsible for driving someone further from the love of God by judging them.

      • If I find someone who I feel is sad, lonely, dusted, disgusted, busted, demoralized, spiritually blind, crippled or crazy, etc., I truly will not lead them to this site. However, I will lead them to the Bible and its teachings, a good church and pastor, and to the Lord JESUS Christ; Our Saviour. AMEN!!

      • Same thing Ringold, I’m getting the Scriputures FROM the same Bible. Good luck! May the ALMIGHTY God bless and keep you. Amen. 🙂

  3. DO NOT MOCK GOD AND HIS WORD FOR YOUR PERSONAL BENEFIT. IT IS NOT FUNNY NOR ENTERTAININ USING HIS WORD INCORRECTLY TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL GOOD IN THEIR SIN. YOU ARE ADVOCATING “FALSE PROPHESY”. “THOSE WITH AN EAR, LET THEM HEAR” THE TRUE WORD OF THE LORD.
